No. It is a record-keeping and transparency tool only. It never holds or moves money — your group's funds stay in your group's own bank account. Recording a contribution, loan or payout simply documents what the group did with its own account.
The chairperson generates an invite code from the Invite screen and shares it. New members enter that code in the app (or open the invite link) to join the group and see its records.
Open your group, choose Import bank statement, and upload a PDF or CSV. The app reads each line and proposes a match to the right member or category (contribution, loan, interest, fees). You review and confirm before anything is saved — for members to match automatically, each member's payment reference should match what appears on the statement.
A register of who is covered under each member (with a per-member limit and “covered from” date), waiting periods, death-certificate uploads, and a claims process where a member can lodge their own claim for the committee to approve and pay.
The mobile apps are free to use. Some additional features are available on the website on a subscription basis.
